An update with the situation. When I plug in the phone, it charges normally (fast charging cable). I use it normally. I downloaded AccuBattery to track the battery. Not really
Hello, I have a laptop that has a fragile battery. The laptop battery currently says "50% available (plugged in)", and the percentage continues to decrease every half day. My computer shuts off completely when it is unplugged, but the available battery still remains at the same percentage. So pretty much the laptop is an AC computer.
3 - After it''s completely off, HOLD the power button for approximately 5 seconds. During this time, the keyboard will light up and the screen backlight will turn on. After 5 seconds pass, it will shutdown again. This time for real. After a lot of tries with this method, I get around 1% battery discharge while off in a period of 24h.
No matter how long i pressed the power button it just wouldnt turn on despite clearly checking beforehand that the phone was, indeed, charging. and well, as i mentioned it has been a few days that its been dead and i plugged it back in once more. the phone heated up a bit which means that there is power but still no luck, it still doesnt turn
Well I have some equipment for when I get back into tinkering with solar and 18650 li-on batteries stuff; I have a 150W 12A DC multi-charger which can charge and discharge a sealed lead acid battery, a AC to DC 12V 33A power supply (can adjust output from 10.4 to 15.2 volts), DC 6.5-100V 0-100A LCD display digital current voltage power energy
When the laptop is fully charged to 100% and plugged in to the power supply, the system after a few minutes indicates that it is running on battery and the light on the side of the laptop adjacent to the power plug shuts off, it
The deck battery drains while turned off. I''ve seen a lot of tech support questions asking about if anything can be done to keep the battery from discharging while off, and usually the only answer is to put it in battery saver mode if you aren''t going to use it for a few weeks. If disabling quickboot is all that''s needed this is a pretty great

You need to try something. It appears that your laptop is going into a “Connected Standby” state which to me means that it is still working hard as it is taking 97% of the battery capacity. A setting or driver is stopping it
If it''s around 75-80%, it should not charge when Conservation is on. Maybe the battery dropped under 75%, and the battery is charging it back to 80%, or Windows is being Windows, or maybe the battery readings are bugged out and an EC reset (unplug everything, laptop off, hold power button for 30 seconds) would fix.
This happened to me a few times, the cause was having my powerbank connected while turning off and taking too long to disconnect it, Q2 had turned back on by then. I assume it didn''t need charging so it decided the battery
The battery warning is gone but when I turned the deck on after letting it drain while on the bios menu and turn off, it said the battery was at "93%" when I booted up. This is not possible because it sat on the boot menu for 5 hours before shutting down.
1. Ensure that your phone has sufficient battery power by pressing the power button for a few seconds and see if there is enough battery power. If the battery power is over 4%, the smartphone can be powered on; 2. If the battery power is too low, charge the smartphone for at least 15-30 minutes and see if you can turn on the smartphone; 3.
I charged my iphone 7 to 100% and power off, after 4 days it can not start up, battery is completely dead. It''s almost like it starts chugging more power to kill itself honestly, because even on my "fast charger" with power saving on the battery still keeps draining. So if I drop below %6 I have to turn power saving on, hang up any phone call I may be on, and turn the
Peripherals Still Drawing Power: Peripherals such as USB devices or external drives can continue to draw power from the laptop if they are still connected while the laptop is turned off. When computer is power-off it drains about 30% every 6-9 hours. It seems like the computer never has turned off and is still working (and discharging the battery). It occurs when either the computer is sleeping or powered-off. The battery has a normal condition of 92%.
Yes, the battery ran down, and iPhones generally won''t power up right away on a standard iPhone charger until the battery has gotten some charge. This can take up to 20 minutes. The reason for this delay is that the compact charger that comes with your phone is not capable of supplying enough power to both charge the battery and power the phone when it''s
If the battery tests good either the battery is not being charged (alternator voltage regulator defective, belt slipping, bad connection, etc.) or the battery is being run down after the engine is turned off (parasitic current draw like IBS or some other draw) or your driving habits are short trips and the alternator never runs long enough to recharge the battery.
If your laptop has a similar feature then an external hard drive or a mouse/controller will drain the battery even if it is turned off. A better way to check it will be to measure the drain when no devices are plugged in. Secondly try pressing down on power

Nearly all modern Windows laptops are designed to sleep in a low power state for a period of time (up to several hours). While in this state, they can be awakened instantly, just like your smartphone. If a certain power drain threshold is
When battery was 100% i turned the laptop off. I did not power on for about 20 days. After that, i turn on the laptop and i''ve seen that battery was 1%. An update with the situation. When I plug in the phone, it charges normally (fast charging cable). I use it normally. I downloaded AccuBattery to track the battery. Not really sure much weird stuff is being picked up by AccuBattery either. The battery drain only happens after I power the phone on after powering it off to go to sleep.
Went to a local repair shop and the guy turned on my phone for free! He said that there are some issues with the battery when it discharges fully. But as far as I know, my battery is perfectly fine and the phone also charges till 100 percent, it''s just that after a discharge, the display doesn''t go beyond the logo screen which is really
turned off "Hybrid Sleep" under power management; Perhaps ask Lenovo Support as the machine should still be in warranty. My machines can be turned right off and I would expect about half that loss. – anon. Commented May 14, Battery discharge on a turned-off system should be a fraction of that.

Both my original pixel 7 and the replacement they sent refuse to turn on again after, if the battery drains completely. This doesn''t seem to happen after shutting down or restart by the way, only if it runs out of battery. I eventually managed to get my first phone to turn on after a couple days, so i managed to save the data.

If your battery has been power cycled enough, the effective storage ability is reduced until it only lasts enough to power on the laptop or not even that. Batteries are affected by many factors including temperature, (cooler is better but with limits), how many times they have been charged and discharged, rate of charge and discharge and much more.
I am Jaspreet Singh. Acer laptops have something called power off charging which essentially allows users to charge their devices through a USB port on the laptops even when the laptop is fully turned off. If your laptop has a similar feature then an external hard drive or a mouse/controller will drain the battery even if it is turned off.
